An astrié mill is a type of mill used to grind grain. It generally consists of a stone millstone, a motor and a transmission system that regulates the rotation speed of the millstone. It is powered by an electric motor and is generally used to grind wheat, maize, small spelt, rye, etc.

Astréïa is a manufacturer of stone mills of the Astrié type. We’ve updated André and Pierre Astrié’s find to take account of health and electrical standards. With their agreement, we have taken up their idea to make the farming world self-sufficient!
