What are the benefits of the Authentique 50 Mill?
- Milling and sifting in a single pass: The grain is stone-milled, and the flour is then sifted directly through the integrated sifter.
- 50 cm Sidobre granite millstones: Their exceptional hardness provides excellent wear resistance and more consistent production while reducing the frequency of stone dressing. Dense, 100% natural and free from chemical binders, they do not crumble.
- An output of 12 to 15 kg of flour per hour: the Authentique 50 can produce up to 200 kg of flour per day and up to 4 tonnes per month, depending on the production schedule and the chosen mill-room configuration, including continuous grain feeding, flour extraction, bagging etc.
- Several types of flour from a single mill: The supplied 300 µm sieve produces semi-wholemeal wheat flour equivalent to French T80 flour. Other sieves are available to produce flour equivalent to French T65, T110, T130 or T150 grades.
- A scalable system: The mill can be complemented by various bagging systems, with a single outlet or 4-, 7-, 8- or 14-bag filling racks.
- Easy operation and simplified maintenance: Thanks to its mechanical design, the Authentique 50 is easily adjusted using two essential settings: the gap between the millstones and the grain feed rate.
How the mill works
Thanks to a spring-mounted oscillating millstone system, the grain is gently rolled between the stones rather than crushed. Milling and sifting are completed in a single pass.
The Astrié process incorporates the germ into the flour while preserving, as much as possible, the starch–gluten bonds, the protein structure and the grain’s nutritional qualities.
The resulting flour is supple, easy to work with, more nutritious and easier for your customers to digest. Astréïa flour faithfully reflects the characteristics of the grain used: a true expression of its terroir!
Gain greater independence with your complete Astréïa milling system
